Nicola Medic of Havana Belgrado, Serbia, created this way for the leaders to criss-cross in opposite directions instead of the normal or pa’rriba direction. Requirements:
- even number of couples
- Leaders must understand “arriba” and “abajo” directions
- Followers must be ready to get a new Leader in either direction
- Everyone must know WHICH version of Contrario is called.
Danger … collisions possible! All leaders MUST understand the call and be able to execute it without crashing into a leader coming from the opposite direction.
