Rueda can be danced by just 2 couples and by as many as several hundred couples in a MegaRueda. However, the ideal size for a group of cantantes to begin to learn to call (or simply to expand their individual Cantante Toolboxes) is the 4-couple Rueda format. Once confident calling at that size, cantantes can then begin to explore the possibilities (and the special challenges) of calling Rueda with more and more couples.
